Battle

In times of confusion,

When your heart and mind are in collusion.

You go back to your core,

And remember what you’re here for.

 

This is somewhere I’ve never been.

And though it may seem,

Like all of your heart wants to,

Still your mind never said so.

 

Fighting your battles within,

Your feelings kept in.

Your mind wants to burst,

When you know things can be worse.
